Ethiopian Investment Holdings (EIH) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Wildberries, Eurasia’s leading digital marketplace, to collaborate on developing Ethiopia’s e-commerce ecosystem and supporting the company’s planned entry into the Ethiopian and wider African markets.

The agreement, signed in Moscow by EIH CEO Dr. Brook Taye and Wildberries CEO Robert Mirzoyan, outlines joint work to adapt Wildberries’ platform to the Ethiopian market and to cooperate on investment and technology initiatives that strengthen logistics, digital infrastructure, and online commerce capabilities.

Wildberries’ expansion into Ethiopia aligns with EIH’s mandate to attract high-quality global partners and diversify opportunities across strategic sectors. This partnership lays the foundation for long-term cooperation that will support innovation, drive digital transformation, and enhance Ethiopia’s competitiveness in the global marketplace.
